Softball Bound: Softball (“Softball Bound,” “the app,” “we,” “us”) is built on a simple principle: your recruiting journey belongs to you alone. This policy explains exactly how the app handles your information. The short version: we don't collect it.
1. We do not collect your personal data
Softball Bound does not operate servers that gather your information. The schools you save, your interest ratings, your private pros and cons, your outreach logs, camp and visit notes, coach impressions, and your profile details are all stored locally on your device. We cannot see this information, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
2. No accounts, no tracking, no selling
- No accounts: You don't create an account or log in. There is no profile of you on our systems.
- No analytics or tracking: We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers.
- No data sales: Unlike platforms that package and sell athlete profiles and contacts, we have nothing to sell because we collect nothing.
3. Purchases
Optional Softball Bound Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your name, payment card, or billing details. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, follow-up reminders and weekly check-ins are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder content is sent to us or through any external service.
5. Links to other services
The app and this site may link to external destinations, such as the App Store, the NCAA Eligibility Center, or our companion app Athletes One Link. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.
6. Children's privacy
Softball Bound is designed for high‑school‑aged student‑athletes and their families. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are under 13, please use the app with a parent or guardian.
7. Your control
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. You may also delete individual schools, logs, and notes at any time within the app.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
